Our instructors have spent many years devoted
to training in the Shaolin Kempo, Shotokan,
Kickboxing, and Cardio Kickboxing chariculmns
offered at Manteca Martial Arts. They have
attained a high level of expertise to qualify
them as teachers and mentors for our students.
Through extensive training, testing and
certification, our instructors have attained the
skills and expertise to bring out the best in
each student. We enjoy sharing and passing on
our mixed martial arts knowledge to our
students.
Sensei Mark Cameron
Sensei Mark has been a martial artist for over
30 years. Training in the art of Shotokan at the
age of 11 in Portsmouth England where Sensei
Mark was born. He was privileged to train under
Sensei Tony Denham, Mick Dewey and to test under
Shotokan legend Keinosuke Enoeda. Joining the
British Army at age 16 Sensei Mark was able to
train in a multitude of other martial arts such
as Judo, Karate, Go shin ryu, kickboxing and
boxing. With 5 years of military service
complete, Sensei Mark decided to immigrate to
America and live the “American dream”. Sensei
Mark now studies Shaolin Kempo under Senior
Grand Master Rick Alemany and is working on
attaining his 5th Dan in the near future.
Sensei Mark has organized and systemized this
wealth of knowledge into a specific curriculum
that his students love to learn. Sensei Mark is
a full time professional instructor, teaching
Stranger Danger to the Manteca Unified School
District, Private schools as well as many other
organizations. Woman’s self defense is also a
Manteca Martial Arts specialty, teaching woman
from the Manteca, Lathrop, French Camp, Tracy,
Modesto and the Stockton area.
Sensei Mark now lives in Manteca Ca, with his
wife Jamie operating the Manteca Martial Arts
together as a team.
